My dearest Gladys. I was very upset when I found out you were married to my Dad. It wasn't very long after my mother died. But after awhile i knew that Dad had picked a very special person. He loved you so much.
She gave me hell lots of times and for that I am grateful. She put up with alot of crap with both of our families but withstood all of it. Right now we are trying to get my father through this. He loved you so much.I knew her longer than I did my own Mother and it breaks my heart too. Just want to let you know that you RLYDare not the only one that is hurting.

I remember spending time at the pond behind Aunt Gladys' house in the summers when I'd visit. She will be missed!!

My favorite memory of Gladys is when she and Uncle Edward came to the house and managed to get us to laugh with their stories, after Dad's funeral. I thought I'd never laugh again! She's free of pain and peaceful now.

Gladys was a wonderful sister in law and friend to me when I was growing up. We had wonderful times at Harold and Gladys'. She always worked so hard even with rhemothoid arthritis doing all it could to stop her. I loved the family gatherings as a kid and missed them after Harold died and I moved to Ohio with my family. She is at peace now surrounded by God's love and those who have gone before her.

Jill, I am truly saddened by the loss of your sweet Mom. I wish I could be there with you to give you some comforting hugs. I will always have that memory at Easter at your Mom's and the treasure hunt in her back yard. Your Mom is in God's hands now, I hope you find peace in that. Love you. xo ~Heather

Edward, John, Ken, Laura, Cathy, Jill and family,
Aunt Gladys was a wonderful, hard working woman who could bake a mean pie!
Dad always picked on her at the picnics down by the pond and would ask for peach pie after she had listed all the other flavors she had on hand. One year, she outfoxed him and had baked a peach one just for him!
Please know we are thinking of you all and send our deepest sympathy.
