Obituary of James L. Moulton

James L. Moulton Lyon Mountain - James L. Moulton, 64, of Route 374, Lyon Mountain, died Friday, January 8, 2010 at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh with his loving family by his side. He was born in Macon, GA, October 25, 1945 the son of Walter "Bud" and Grace (Lloyd) Moulton. After High School, James served in the United States Navy from 1963 to 1969. He was employed at Georgia Pacific for a short time before he went into the New York State Department of Corrections, where he retired after 25 years. He was a member of the Lyon Mountain Legion Post 1623, Lyon Mountain Methodist Church, Lyon Mountain firing squad, President of Wolf Pond Crossing, and a member of Conklin Pond. Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Joanne (Alton) Moulton whom he married August 11, 1989; his son's, Chris Moulton and wife Treeza Moulton, Glen Moulton, James Moulton, and Jessie Moulton; grandson, Chad Moulton; granddaughters, Mackenzie Siskavich, Trina Moulton, and Stefanie Moulton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Donald and Kathy Moulton, Jeff and Rosemary Moulton, and David Moulton; and six nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; and daughter, Trina Moulton Siskavich. Calling hours will be held Sunday, January 10, 2010 from 2 to 6pm at the Lyon Mountain funeral home. A funeral service will be held Monday, January 11, 2010 at 3pm at the Memorial United Methodist Church in Lyon Mountain. Full military honors will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the nursing staff at the Fitzpatrick Cancer Center for their great care or to the family.
