Theresa A. BairPeasleeville - Theresa A. Bair, 51, of the Peasleeville Road, died Monday, November 23, 2009 at the CVPH Medical Center with her loving family by her side.She was born in Plattsburgh, May 13, 1958, the daughter of John and Gladys (Besaw) Marcotte.She graduated from Peru Central School in 1977 and has been employed there for several years as a Teachers Aide. She was also co-owner and bookkeeper for B&B Trucking for many years.She enjoyed her pool, gardening, and canning, but her true love was spending time with her family and friends.Survivors include her husband of 31 years, Andrew C. "Andy" Bair, whom she married July 15, 1978 at St. Augustine's Church in Peru; two children, Kevin Bair and Megan Bair and her companion Joe Beam; seven sisters and two brothers-in-law, Lucille Frenyea of Peru, Gloria Sarbou of Peru and Deland, Florida, Evelyn Pelkey of Ormand Beach, Florida, Barbara Licourt of Peru and Deland, Florida, Norma and Jim Huddleston of Grenada, Mississippi, Mary Seymour of Peru, and Kathy and Richard Laundry of Jay; mother-in-law, Patricia Bair of Rouses Point; Andy's siblings, Cathy Bair of Hemmingford Quebec, Scott and Penny Bair of Plattsburgh, Kimberly and Steven Kehoe of Titusville, Florida, Karen Scotch and fiance Wes Aubin of Rouses Point and her son Justin (US Army), Kristine and Edward Mayhew of Newport, Vermont, and Brenda Bair of Mooers; the family pooch, Roxie Ann; and many nieces and nephews.She was predeceased by her parents; sister, Shirley M. Bailey and her husband Dick Bailey; brothers-in-law, Donald Pelkey, Jr., Dick Frenyea, Paul Licourt, Ross Sarbou, and Joseph Seymour; nephew Kevin Licourt; and father-in-law, Calvin Bair.Calling hours will be held Sunday, November 29, 2009 from 4 to 7pm at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday, November 30, 2009 at 10am at St. Augustine's Church in Peru with Rev. William G. Reamer, CVPH Chaplain, celebrating. Committal prayers and burial will follow in the Peasleeville Cemetery officiated by Rev. David Sullivan.Donations in her memory may be made to her husband to be distributed to her caregivers.Arrangements are in the care of the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru. 643-9055
