Edna was a beautiful lady and I remember her fondly from being the nurse @ Peru Central School. My mother, Grace Wilson, introduced me at a very young age to Edna Lesperance (Hutchinson). The memories of both Edna & James were so very good during my school years. My sympathy to the family.

I remember Edna as a vibrant school nurse in Peru when my mother was dental hygenist. She was always cheerful and full of life. That spirit continued throughout her life. Our prayers and thoughts go out to her family during this time. She is in a better place where there is no pain and no suffering.

Mrs. Hutchinson practiced the true art of nursing, tending to the first aid of a child's wounded heart as much as the bumps, brusies and cuts. She has always held a very special place in my heart and was very respected by both my mom and I. Thank you for the fine example you set for your fellow nurses. God Bless her loved ones in your time of sadness.

Edna was the most compassionate person. She was the school nurse when I was in grade school in Peru, during the 1970's. She always had a kind or comforting word for children. She will be missed. Thanks, Edna for all the times you treated me in school.
