Obituary of Margaret M. Papp

Margaret M. PappKeeseville - Margaret M. Papp, 95, of LaFlure Lane, Keeseville, died Saturday, August 1, 2009 at the Meadowbrook Healthcare in Plattsburgh.She was born in Cleveland, Ohio, June 25, 1914, the daughter of Frank and Margit (Orosz) Bago. She resided in Cleveland until moving to Keeseville in 1992 to be closer to her family. When in Cleveland she was employed at Higbee's Department Store. While in the North Country she enjoyed attending church at the St. Paul's Episcopal Church, having lunch at the Senior Center, and taking car rides. She also enjoyed listening to books on tape. Survivors include her son, James Papp of Plattsburgh; three granddaughters, Jenny Lyon and her husband, Kevin of Peru, Mindy Sussdorff and her companion, Matthew Chase of Plattsburgh, and Lisa Sussdorff and her fiance, John Atwood of Plattsburgh; one grandson, Eddie Sussdorff and his wife, Angie; four great-grandchildren, Garrett, Madison, and Samantha Lyon, and Brodie Sussdorff.Margaret was predeceased by her parents; her husband, James Papp, November 25, 1986; her daughter, Patricia Sussdorff, May 30, 2002; and one sister, Elizabeth "Betty"; and two brothers, Ernest and Frank.There will be no public calling hours or services. A private graveside service will be held in the Highland Park Cemetery in Cleveland, Ohio.Donations in her memory may be made to the Keeseville Fire Dept. and Rescue Squad.Arrangements are in the care of the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru.643-9055
