June M. "June Bug" PerryCadyville - June M. "June Bug" Perry, 80, of the Russell Road, Cadyville, died Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh with her loving family by her side.She was born in Dannemora, April 14, 1929 the daughter of Herbert and Elizabeth (Cummings) Haley.She grew up in Dannemora and graduated from Dannemora High School in 1946. She was a homemaker and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She cared for many local children throughout the North Country and was referred to as grandma and "June Bug" by many many locals.June was a member of the Home Bureau and the St. James Church Choir. She enjoyed gardening, crafts, shopping, going out for lunch, and caring for "Black Cat".She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Oswald J. "Mike" Perry whom she married, August 25, 1954 in Pawling, NY; five children, Kathy Giblin of Millerton NY, Herb Perry and wife Diane of Peasleeville, Debby Veseskis and husband Charlie of Virginia Beach, VA, Kenny Perry and his companion Paula McCarthy of Cadyville, Julie Heath and husband Bob of Cadyville; grandchildren, Michelle, Scott, Brent, Lauren, Jacob, Emily, Joe, Ben, Bianca and Hecto; and many nieces and nephews.She was predeceased by her parents; step-mother, Ruth Sears Haley; and siblings, Wallace, Leon, and Russell Haley and Betty Fitzgerald.Calling hours will be held Thursday, June 18, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru. A memorial Mass will be celebrated Friday, June 19, 2009 at 9:30am at St. James Church in Cadyville with Monsignor Lawrence M. Deno, parish pastor, celebrating. Burial will follow in the Church of the Assumption Cemetery in Redford.Donations in her memory may be made to the Saranac Rescue Squad or St. James Church in Cadyville.Arrangements are in the care of the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru. 643-9055
