Theresa M. Agoney
Peru - Theresa M. Agoney, 75, of the Reservoir Road, Peru died Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at the CVPH Medical Center with her loving family by her side.
She was born in Plattsburgh, June 25, 1933 the daughter of Wilfred and Elizabeth (LaBounty) Boudrieau.
Theresa grew up in Peru. She worked at Forrence Orchards in Peru for several years and later in the dining hall on the new Plattsburgh Air Force Base. She was a member of the Keeseville Senior Citizens Club. She enjoyed bingo, cooking, eating out, watching game shows and cooking shows, and was an avid baseball fan especially the Atlanta Braves.
She is survived by her children, Raymond Agoney and wife Helen of Peru, Richard Agoney and wife Debbie of Peru, Joanne Gainer and husband Paul of Peru, Michael Agoney and wife Gina of Morrisonville, William Agoney and companion Theresa Allen of Peru, Amos Agoney and wife Sandra of Keeseville, Melissa Agoney and fiance Brian of Plattsburgh, and Pebbles Agoney and partner Beth Awrey of Peru; siblings, Mary Akey and husband Wayne of Plattsburgh, Florence Duell of Plattsburgh, Beatrice Martineau and husband Vernon of Rochester, Helen Besaw and husband Elrick of Rochester, Agnes Stranahan of Rochester, Sherman Boudrieau of Rochester, and Robert Boudrieau of Plattsburgh; 33 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren; many great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents; husband Nelson M. Agoney, October 26, 2003; three brothers, Henry, George, and Ralph Boudrieau; and one sister, Rose Besaw.
Calling hours will be held Friday, June 5, 2009 from 4 to 7pm at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru. A funeral service will follow at 7pm at the Hamilton Funeral Home with Rev. William G. Reamer, CVPH Chaplain, officiating. Burial will be Saturday, June 6, 2009 at 10am at the Peasleeville Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Keeseville Knights of Columbus.
Donations in her memory may be made to the H.K. Freedman Renal Center in Plattsburgh.
