Obituary of Denise M. Wright

Denise M. WrightSchuyler Falls - Denise M. Wright, 62, of the Burnt Hill Road, Schuyler Falls, died Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.She was born in Tupper Lake, November 2, 1946, the daughter of Albert J. and Ellen S. (Mere) Bailey.Denise graduated from Peru Central School in 1964 and attended Clinton Community College.She is a member of the West Plattsburgh American Legion Post 1619 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed camping, skiing, and gardening.Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Winston W. Wright, whom she married March 20, 1965 in Peasleeville; one daughter, Jill Wright-Marinelli of Guilderland; three grandchildren, Ryan Philbin, and Sophia and Isabella Marinelli; one sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Mahlon Wright of Schuyler Falls; and several nieces and nephews.She was predeceased by her parents; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Richard "Dick" and Shirley Bailey and Dennis Bailey.Calling hours will be held Friday, May 8, 2009 from 3 to 6pm at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru. There will be words of remembrance offered at 6pm at the Hamilton Funeral Home by longtime family friend Michael Burke. A gathering will follow at the West Plattsburgh American Legion Post 1619.Donations in her memory may be made to the Peru Elmore SPCA.Arrangements are in the care of the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru. 643-9055
