Thomas E. Greeno AuSable Forks - Thomas E. Greeno, 63, of Route 9N, AuSable Forks, died Friday, February 27, 2009 at his home in AuSable Forks. He was born in Proctor, Vermont, September 9, 1945 the son of Victor and Mary (Beaudry) Greeno. Tom's family moved to AuSable Forks when he was 9 years old. He was a lifelong timber harvester and worked for Edward Boynton of Jay. He was an avid outdoors man and especially enjoyed fishing, hunting, vegetable gardening. Tom was a very kind hearted man and would help anyone i n need. He will be sorely missed by those who had the opportunity to know him. Survivors include his siblings, Joyce and husband, Richard Bryant of Forestdale, Vermont, Mary and husband, Francis Savage of Ludlow, Massachusetts, and Mike Greeno and companion, Mary Proper of Cadyville; two brothers-in-law, Wayne Platt of Brandon, Vermont, and Howard Aubin of AuSable Forks; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; and two sisters, Charlotte Platt, and Shirley Aubin. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, March 3, 2009 from 2 to 4pm at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 124 Clinton Street, Keeseville. A funeral service will follow at 4pm at the Hamilton Funeral Home. Buri al will be in the spring in the Holy Name Cemetery in AuSable Forks. Donations in his memory may be made to the Adirondack Humane Society or your local Fire Dept. or Rescue Squad. Arrangements are in the care of the Hamilton Funeral Home, 124 Clinton Street, Keeseville. 834-7667
