Obituary of Laura Novelli

Laura Novelli Peru - Laura Novelli, 44, of the Jabez Allen Road, Peru, died Monday, February 23, 2009 at her home surrounded by her loving family and under the care of Hospice of the North Country. She was born in Warner Robbins, Georgia, December 16, 1964, the daughter of Joseph and Doris (Kopicki) Novelli. Laura enjoyed music and dancing with her dad before school every morning, watching football on tv, jack-in-the-boxes and eating donuts. She also enjoyed family car rides, airplane rides, and amusement parks, especially roller coasters. Laura loved the Christmas Holiday with all of the decorations and bright decorative lights. She is survived by her parents Joe and Doris Novelli of Peru; two sisters, Ann Novelli and Grace Novelli both of Peru; one uncle, Robert Kopicki and wife Carole of TX; one aunt, Barbara Wedekind and husband Frank of PA; five nieces and nephews, Talia, Marc, Michael, Kate and Peter; and many cousins. At the request of the family there will be no public calling hours. A memorial Mass will be celebrated Thursday, February 26, 2009 at 10am at St. Augustine's Church with Rev. Alan D. Shnob, pastor, celebrating. Burial will be in the spring in St. Augustine's Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to Hospice of the North Country or PATH.
