Catherine A. CobbKeeseville - Catherine A. Cobb, 65, of Hollywood Avenue, Keeseville, died Monday, January 19, 2009, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.She was born in AuSable Forks, February 5, 1943, the daughter of Clifford M. and Margaret L. (Yelle) Busha. She graduated from Keeseville High School in 1961. She was employed at Valcour Lodge in Peru for several years.She was a member of the Keeseville Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary for many years. She enjoyed bowling, playing bingo, and gambling.Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Charles L. Cobb; five children, Keena and husband John Banker, Charles Cobb and wife Trudy, Keith Cobb, Melissa Cobb, and "her baby" Margaret and husband Ben Kinsman; one sister, Betty and husband Bud Chase; one brother, Clifford J. Busha; one sister-in-law, Mary Cobb; one brother-in-law Bill Cobb and wife Sharon; fifteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and their children; and two grand dogs.She was predeceased by her parents.Calling hours will be held Wednesday, January 21, 2009 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 124 Clinton Street, Keeseville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, January 22, 2009 at 11am at St. John's Church in Keeseville with Rev. William G. Reamer, CVPH Chaplain, celebrating. Burial will be held at a later date in the Parish cemetery. A gathering will follow the Mass at the Keeseville Fire Station.Donations in her memory may be made to the Keeseville Fire Department and Rescue Squad in acknowledgement of her dedicated years of service.Catherine, you were a rock for so many. You will be missed and loved forever. Rest your mind; we will be ok.Arrangements are in the care of the Hamilton Funeral Home, 124 Clinton St, Keeseville. 643-9055
