Keshia B. PierceWillsboro - Keshia B. Pierce, 23, of Sunset Drive, Willsboro, died Thursday, January 1, 2009 in Essex. She was born in Plattsburgh, April 29, 1985. She grew up in Willsboro and graduated from Willsboro Central School in 2003. She later graduated CV-TEC with an LPN degree. She was currently employed at the Clinton County Nursing Home in Plattsburgh.She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends but her true love was working at the nursing home and caring for the elderly patients. Survivors include her mother and father, Lane and Danny Sayward of Willsboro; her siblings, Amber Sayward of Czech Republic, Kenndall Sayward of Willsboro, Jade Sayward of Willsboro, Dakota Sayward of Willsboro; maternal grandfather, Bruce Pierce of Willsboro; her father and step-mother, Brian and Cindy King of Clifton Park; paternal grandmother and step-grandfather, Jenny and John Metcalfe of Depew; grandparents, Roseann and Irwin Sayward of Willsboro; great-grandparents, Richard and Virginia Sayward of Willsboro; aunts and uncles, Gage Pierce of Willsboro, Brandy and Korey Sweatt of Willsboro, Scott Sayward and partner James of Willsboro, Bruce King of Maine, and Brett and Polly King of Keeseville; and many cousins.She was predeceased by her maternal grandmother, Marlene Pierce; and her paternal grandfather, Gerald King.Calling hours will be held Monday, January 5, 2008 from 4 to 7pm at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, January 6, 2008 at 11am at the Willsboro United Methodist Church with Rev. Barbara Hoffman officiating. A gathering will follow at the fellowship hall.Donations in her memory may be made to a scholarship fund to be established at the Willsboro Central School for a student wishing to further their education in the nursing field.Arrangements are in the care of the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road. 643-9055
