Obituary of Nancy B. Keefe

Nancy B. Keefe Keeseville - Nancy B. Keefe, 74, of Keeseville Country Gardens, Hill Street, Keeseville, died Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. She was born in Hartford, Connecticut, October 29, 1934 the daughter of Eugene J. and Mari A. (Danforth) Bennett. Nancy grew up in Hartford, CT and attended Hartford High School. She received an associates degree from Manchester Community College. She worked for several donut shops in the Hartford area. She lastly worked as a social worker for the Town of East Hartford in CT. She was an avid reader especially her bible, and collecting frogs. Survivors include her husband of 22 years, Leslie C. Keefe, whom she married January 2, 1987 in Manchester, Connecticut; one son, David Glidden of Vernon, CT; Jan Breault and fiance James Perry of Keeseville; four grandchildren, Marcy-Lee Gagnon, David Breault, Joshua Breault, Tyler Glidden; and four great-grandchildren, Michael Gagnon, Burton Gagnon, Daniel Breault, and Nancy Jeanette Breault; one brother and sister-in-law, Francis and Jeanette Bennett of Enfield, CT; one sister-in-law, Beverly Brown of Manchester, CT; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; her parents-in-law; one daughter-in-law, Lisa Glidden; one sister, Marion Priest; and two brothers, Ralph and Richard "Dick" Bennett. There will be no public calling hours or services. Donations in her memory may be made to the Elmore SPCA in Peru.
