Teresa G. LaFountain AuSable Forks/Keeseville - Teresa G. LaFountain, 72, formerly of AuSable Forks, died Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Thom Loreman. She was born in Port Henry, December 21, 1935, the daughter of Fred and Edna (Bell) Bougor. Teresa cared for many area children over the years. She enjoyed bingo and attending the senior lunches, but her true love was spending time with her granddaughter Tressa. She was loved dearly and will be missed. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Thomas Loreman of Keeseville; three grandchildren, Tressa, Samantha, and Tommy; six sisters, Judy Swinton and husband Wallace of Crown Point, Christine Swinton of Hague, Josephine Bougor of Ticonderoga, Anette Burroughs and husband Harold of Crown Point, Helen VanPatten of Ballston Spa, and Gerry Frelove; one brother, Leo Devoid of Vermont; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Barney "Moose" LaFountain; one sister, Rosebell Morin; and brothers, Henry, Eugene, and her very special brother Kenny Bougor. Calling hours will be private and at the convenience of the family. A funeral service will be held Sunday, November 30, 2008 at 2pm at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 124 Clinton Street, Keeseville with Monsignor Leeward J. Poissant, pastor of the Catholic Community of Keeseville, officiating. Burial will be held at a later date in the Upper Jay Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to the Keeseville Rescue Squad. Arrangements are in the care of the Hamilton Funeral Home, 124 Clinton Street, Keeseville.
