Clara B. Davey Keeseville - Clara B. Davey, 88, formerly of Mace Chasm Road, Keeseville died Thursday, October 16, 2008 at the Horace Nye Nursing Home, Elizabethtown. She was born in Tupper Lake, September 30, 1920 the daughter of Harold and Meta (Minogue) Marsha. She grew up in Tupper Lake and moved to Peru following graduation from Tupper Lake High School. She was first employed at the Grand Union in Peru and later at the Grand Union in Plattsburgh until retiring. She enjoyed her home and her little farm and animals. She is survived by two sisters-in-law, Virginia Marsha of Keeseville and Margaret Davey of Plattsburgh; a brother-in-law John Snedeker; nieces, nephews, several cousins and many good neighbors and friends. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, February 9, 1979, Patrick Walter Davey whom she married February 15. 1969 at the Immaculate Conception Church in Keeseville; two sisters, Isabella Mayotte and Ruth Marsha; and one brother, James H. Marsha; mother and father-in-law Walter and Ida Davey; a brother-in-law Warren Davey; and a sister-in-law Noreen Snedeker. Calling hours will be Monday, October 20, 2008 from 11 to 1 pm at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 124 Clinton Street, Keeseville. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:30pm at the Immaculate Conception Church in Keeseville with Rev. Leeward J. Poissant, pastor, celebrating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Donations in Clara's memory may be made to the charity of one's choice. Arrangements are in the care of the Hamilton Funeral Home, 124 Clinton Street, Keeseville.
