Clara L. Busha
Keeseville - Clara L. Busha, 78, of Pleasant Street, Keeseville, died Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at the CVPH Medical Center.
She was born in Burlington, VT, March 25, 1930 the daughter of Napolean and Mamie (Blaise) LeBlanc.
Clara worked at Pleasant Valley Meat Packing Company in Schenectady for several years.
Clara enjoyed cooking and raising her children. She especially loved time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her frame was small however she will be remembered as a very strong and powerful woman. Her strength was necessary as a wife of a career Navy man who was out at sea when the children were young and growing.
Clara is survived by her husband of 52 years, Richard E. Busha, whom she married August 4, 1956 in St. Luke's Church in Schenectady; one daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Michael Snow of Keeseville; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Troy and DeAnne Busha of Spring, TX and Dan Busha of Corinth; two brothers, Paul and Harold LeBlanc both of Schenectady; one sister, Doris Snyder of Colonie; three grandchildren, Allen Giddings and wife Stacey, and Steven Giddings and wife Tabatha, and Amelia Busha; one great granddaughter, Kiley Giddings; one great-grandson, Jesse Giddings; and one great-granddaughter due December 1, 2008, Gracey Clara Giddings.
She is predeceased by her parents; three brothers, Roger, Amos and Clarence LeBlanc; and one sister, Mildred Currier.
Relatives and friends may call Thursday, October 9, 2008 from 5 to 8pm at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 124 Clinton Street, Keeseville. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday, October 10, 2008 at 10am at St. John's Church in Keeseville with Monsignor Leeward J. Poissant, pastor, celebrating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
