When Marty moved into his new home, 20+ years ago, quickly he became more than the best neighbor we could have imagined, he became a great friend and an irreplaceable part of our family. We will miss his quick wit, his sense of humor, and his laugh the most. Our life will never be the same without him in it. Thanks for the memories, Marty.

I met Marty on the 4th of July picnic at he and Becky's house. He made us feel very welcome and had a lot of visits with my husband who was going through something similar. Fly high Marty and say hello to my husband. Love you Becky

Becky, I'm so sorry for your loss. I never got to meet Marty but it was obvious to me how close you were and how much he meant to you. When I read his obituary I got cold chills — he and Jerry shared the same birthday and Jerry passed away last May on the 12th. Maybe they'll cross paths in the the afterlife.

The first time I met Marty he made me feel like I had known him all my life. He was easy to talk to and had a great sense of humor and was quick with a joke.

We loved when Marty and Becky came to visit us in New Mexico. But being able to spend time with them on their river bank in our RV could not be beat. Marty made us an electrical line and water line. He even let us cut into his land to create a sewer hook up. I know he loved us as much as we loved him.

Marty and I only had 15 short years together but they were 15 years filled with love and laughter, travel and family. We both loved our little dog Mickey who is sadly sitting in Marty's chair waiting for him to come home. I will miss you to the end of my time but I know you are waiting for me in that big casino in the sky! You are forever in my heart.
