
Obituary of Carol Lee Pinsonneault

Carol Lee Pinsonneault, 78, of State Route 11, Champlain, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at her home under the loving care of her family and Hospice of the North Country.
She was born in Champlain on March 9, 1945, the daughter of Orrin and Evelyn (Scriver) Higgins (deceased). Carol grew up in Champlain, NY on Main Street with her three sisters, Shirley Coulombe, Dorothy Mae Mallory and Phyllis Martino. She graduated from Champlain High School. Carol enjoyed going to her children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events; she was their #1 fan and cheerleader! She was very proud of her granddaughter Myah who is serving our country as a U.S. Marine! Carol was a loving wife and the center of her children’s universe. She was involved with the American Heart Association, worked for Grand Union, Bowl Mart Lanes, and spent most of her career working for Battat Inc. She was a source of inspiration for many that worked with her. Carol was a kind hearted woman who would help anyone in need. She will be dearly missed by all.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 60 years, Real Pinsonneault; Children, Tammy (Marvin) Bechard of West Chazy, Elizabeth (Todd) Sample of Mooers Forks, Timothy (Kimberly) Pinsonneault of Champlain, and Kathie (James) Maclean of North Port, FL; her 10 grandchildren, Kayleigh (David) Wojewodzic, Kasey (Elizabeth) Garrand, Tyler (Amanda) Sample, Dylan (Sondra) Sample, Evan (Paige) Sample, Cole (Natalie) Pinsonneault, Emily (Caleb) Sample, Rylee Pinsonneault, Madison and Myah Mitchell; In addition, six Great-Grandchildren; Gannon Wojewodzic, Eli Sample, Lily Wojewodzic, Gracyn Sample, Elliot Sample and Beckett Sample; and extended family Matthew (Trisha) Bechard and great-granddaughter Bella, Jennifer (Kent Fessette) Maclean and Jaclyn (Andrew) Beach and great-grandchildren Lyla Mae and Stetson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 20, 2023 at Noon at St. Mary’s Church in Champlain with Rev. Clyde A. Lewis, celebrating. Burial in Glenwood Cemetery will be in the spring.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Carol Lee Pinsonneault to Hospice of the North Country.
