Hard to believe that Tom has passed. He had that quick wit that made you smile and also wonder if he was actually joking :-) Jim had come to think of him as a brother as they did a lot of traveling together searching for the gems that neither really needed but enjoyed looking for and purchasing. RIP and we will have some good memories of all the fun times we shared with you. You will keep us smiling from heaven.

I really enjoyed that summer we had a pick up baseball team and played other teams from Hartness to PAFB. I will always remember the letters to the editor so written that nobody would challenge your conservative points of view ! I am sure you are having some great talks right now. Dale P Irwin

My deepest sympathy goes out to the Irwin family he was a nice man. I will never forget in my younger years when his son Tim Amy myself and my sister Lisa cut the fence on Tom to go skiddoing. Needless to say he wasntbhappy with us but decided to laugh instead of yell. RIP Tom

I did not really get an opportunity to get to know my Uncle Tom well as I have lived in Florida since 1996 and did not get to visit back in New York often. When I did get to see him thought he reminded me so much of his mom, Grandma Tess. Always with a bright smile and a laugh. I am especially sorry for his children Timmy, Jeff, Kelly, and Tomilyn and grandchildren. I know my father and Aunt Kathy will always be there for them. Lifes too short, always make everyday count as he seemed to do. Family is so important.

Condolences for Larry, Kathy and the rest of the family for the loss of Tom. We spent a lot of years together. He was President of our class in 1961 and I was the vice president. A lot of good memories from the patent road in Peru. RIP and God Bless
