I've finished all my life's chores,
and now I fish on heaven's shores.
The view is grand and the fishing's great, but I yearn for you to wait.

Jacob Paul Merrill was the brightest person you would have ever met. He absolutely loved fishing, hunting, camping and just anything to do with the outdoors. He was very smart, he had the biggest potential in life and he loved working, he was a very hard worker and when he wasn't working he either would be spending time with family (Mom and Dad, Me sister) or spending time with friends and just enjoying life outside. He would call me Miget <3 He was my big brother and I love you Jacob! I'll never be the same without you walking on this Earth but, I know for sure Ill be walking with you in Heaven. I miss you my dear big brother, you have sadly just gone to fast, a friend and like a guardian to me. You stood by me my whole life and if I could just change places with you. Please know I really would, it's not fair that you're no longer here, when all you ever did was good. But life can throw a curveball I guess and we can't choose our moments, but only deal with them instead. So, I will honor you Jacob my brother, in everything I do, in loving memory of you. I wish you sweet sleep, my dear brother. Although there's so much that you've left bare and I hate that you had to endure such pain, on my mind your the saddened eyes have left a stain. I want to know what crossed your mind the unspoken words that you've left behind, the undone things i'll never do and no sharing thoughts you never knew. It really is like a hole in our lives. The Bible says that God will open their eyes, no suffering, no pain and those who did good, eternal life they'll gain. I know for sure Jacob you have eternal life because you were the nicest person and did so much good for the world. So.. sleep on my brother, sleep tight and for now with you the sky is night but after night will come daybreak. Therefore I will wait hoping to see you awake.

Jacob was my son a angel from the day I gave birth to him . The wasn't a day he didn't say I love you momma . Always was a fantastic person in every way .
