I am so very proud to call this man my uncle! I loved him very much! I have many fond memories of him. He played guitar and sang songs to me when I was a child. I also remember him trying to teach me how to strum his guitar. My hands were too small at the time to hold the neck. I loved how he let me strum the strings though.
I remember him repairing VCR's and on the CB radio. The was a time his CB radio friends told him how I was on the radio while he was picking up my aunt Loretta from work one evening. I was at his house with the boys, Carl and Jack. As they slept, I was upstairs on his CB Radio telling everyone what time it was and saying "10-4" a lot! LOL! No one ever spoke while I was on. They sure did have a ball telling uncle Carl what I was doing though, when he got back to his car and on the CB Radio again. LOL!
I believe I was 5 years old when I was the flower girl in his wedding to my aunt Loretta! I loved being a part of the wedding!

It was a great pleasure to know Carl. Although I never got to see him in person, we spent hours on the computer together, playing games, and talking about God. He always loved my books and devotional email, and I am so glad to be able to have been a help and encouragement to him!
