Bob will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He will always be remembered as being friendly and in good spirits. We will also remember him as the family historian and one that was always willing to share a story with anyone that would listen.

When my late husband was diagnosed with ALS and couldn't work it was Bob who went to the owner of the restaurant that I worked at to help pay my rent.
This was in Florida where him and Karen vacationed every winter. He was a very happy and generous man.
My husband and I also enjoyed several evenings at their condo. Always great company, dinner and drinks. May he rest in peace and God watch over Karen in this awful time.

Dear Uncle Bob,
If I knew our phone call last week was going to be our last, I would not have wasted it discussing politics. Instead, I would have made sure you knew the HUGE impact you had on my life. From my early days when you welcomed me with open arms to enjoy the lakehouse so I knew there was a better life with hard work. And, when you took me on my first vacation out of Ohio to Maine to show me there is a world beyond my current one. Sorry for making you swim in 55 degree ocean but I'd never been before. You taught me to explore and be brave! You taught me that hard work pays off! You taught me to never trust a man that won't have a drink with you, and we should have probably have added that he better look us in the eyes when we cheers! I'll never forget all of your stories and will tell them forever, like the one where someone stole your tools on a job but you knew how to get them back and sure enough they returned before the end of the day. Or, all the stories of your childhood working in the Mill and your Michigan's Stand, bet they were good! I could go on and on, you were a bright light in every room, and we always looked forward to seeing you as we knew it was going to be a grand time with MANY laughs. Keep on making them laugh up there and know your legacy will live on FOREVER.
