Obituary of Kaleb V. Provost

Kaleb V. Provost 34, of Stanley Lane, Willsboro NY, passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at his home. He was born in Plattsburgh, NY, on June 10, 1988. Kaleb attended Willsboro Central School, Clinton Community College, and North Country Community College. He was an avid Rugby player in his younger years. He will forever be a Barkeater. He loved books and was exceptionally well read, exploring many avenues of history, current events and the human mind. He had many talents and interests which allowed him to work in many different professions. Most recently Pizza Bono, one of Kaleb and his brothers favorite places. Kaleb was a natural with animals and was dedicated to his dog Kofi. Kaleb may have had many nick names over the years but the one that stands out is Mowgli. Kaleb leaves a legacy of being a devoted and helpful friend to many. Especially to his grandfather Harry. Kaleb was predeceased by his brother Kainan J. Provost in 2021; grandmothers, Marge Provost, Donna Chappee, and Emily Holdridge; and grandfather, Vin Bailey. Kaleb leaves behind parents, Janine and Doug Holdridge, and Ray Provost; grandparents Harry Provost and Marcia Bailey; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his dog Kofi. His authentic and animated personality will be miss by all. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, December 30, 2022 from 4 to 6:30 pm at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru. A funeral service will follow at 6:30 pm in the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel. A reception will follow at GiGi’s On The River in Keeseville. All are welcome. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Elmore SPCA or to an animal shelter or rescue of your choice, in his name.
