Obituary of Deborah E. Lawyer

Deborah (Debby) Lawyer passed away on December 21, 2022, at the age 63. Debby was born on April 3, 1959, to Richard and Esther (Martin) Passino. She married John on October 18, 1975, and had four children. Debby was often found at Pleasant Corner side by side with Bruce and Esther, chatting with customers and working with the family. Debby’s true enjoyments were her children, grandchildren, pets and being at Pleasant Corner Restaurant. She enjoyed attending sports games throughout her children’s high school years and continued her support by watching the grandkids on the field and court. She cared for many pets over the years and loved them like family. Debby is survived by her three children, Michael and his wife Jill, Cory and his wife Shellie, and Nicole; four grandchildren, Troy, Vanessa, Deon and Ali; her mom, Esther; and two brothers, Richard and Tim. Debby was preceded in death by her son, John III; her stepdad, Bruce; her father; and sister, Jeanette. A reception will be held on Sunday, January 8th at Pleasant Corner in Keeseville from 2 to 4 p.m. The family will hold a private burial this spring.
