Obituary of Kathleen May LaDieu

Kathleen M. LaDieu, 94, formerly of the Giddings Road, Peru, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2022, at the Elderwood at Ticonderoga. She was born in Port Kent on December 22, 1927, the daughter of George Morrow (d.1967) and Marion Finnegan Morrow (d.1961). She married Maurice LaDieu on April 27, 1950. They were a special Aunt and Uncle to many. He unfortunately passed in 1994. A fiercely independent woman into her 90th year, she was being cared for in her home by her nephew, Brent, until his untimely passing on September 28, 2021. Survivors include nieces, nephews and several cousins. She was also predeceased by her brothers, Harold (d.1986), Donald (d.1990), Wallace (d.1995), and Kenneth (d.2011); and her sister, Isabelle (d.1994). Her family would like to thank the staff at the Adirondack wing of Elderwood at Ticonderoga for their special care of her over the last year. A private graveside service will be held in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Keeseville. Donations in her memory may be made to the Keeseville Rescue Squad.
