Maureen A. "Mo" Blaise, 60, of the Mace Chasm Road, Keeseville, died Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh, with her loving family by her side. She was born in Plattsburgh, August 2, 1962, the daughter of Ronald D. and Sally (Bennett) Ryan. She grew up in Port Douglas and graduated from AuSable Valley Central School in 1980. Mo married Kevin Blaise, April 6, 1991 in St. John's Church in Keeseville. She worked various jobs throughout the years, lastly for the Dept. of Social Services in Elizabethtown. Mo was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed cooking and time with family and friends. Left to cherish the memory of Mo are, her husband of 31 years, Kevin Blaise; three children, Corey, Ryan (Kevin Durfee), and Caitlin; siblings, Rob (Karen) Ryan, and Randy (Kim) Ryan; parents-in-law, Ernest and Eleanor Blaise; siblings-in-law, Ernest (Liz) Blaise, Yvonne (Sherman) Bezio, Russell Blaise, and Chris (Laurie) Blaise; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents. Relatives and friends are invited to call Friday, November 18, 2022 from 10 to 11 am at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru. A funeral service will follow at 11 in the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. William G. Reamer, officiating. Committal prayers and burial will follow in the Port Douglas Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to the Elmore SPCA in Peru. Arrangements are in the care of the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru, 643-9055.
