James Michael “Jim” Liberty, 61, of Keeseville, died Saturday, November 12, 2022 at his residence.
He was born in Plattsburgh, July 12, 1961, son of the late Carlton G. and Rose L. (Decker) Liberty. He grew up in Harkness and attended AuSable Valley Central School.
He worked as a clerk for Grand Union in Peru for several years.
Jim enjoyed reading, fishing, and doing handyman tasks.
Left to cherish the memory of Jim are, daughter, Jamie Brunell; sons, Dillon (Rachel) Liberty and Dustin Liberty; grandchildren, Colton Brunell, Allie Brunell, and Hanna Liberty; siblings, Gary (Julie) Liberty, Debbie (Gerard) Depo, Beverly (Bruce) Hanley, and Rick (Laurie) Liberty; and several nieces and nephews and their children.
He was predeceased by his parents in 2014.
Services will be private, for his family.
Donations in his memory may be made to Alcoholics Anonymous.
Arrangements are in the care of the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru, 643-9055.
