Obituary of Donna P. Bouyea

Donna P. Bouyea 75, of Morrisonville, NY passed away peacefully on Tuesday November 8, 2022 under the loving care of her family and Hospice of the North Country. She was born in Plattsburgh on September 20, 1947, the daughter of Donald “John” and Sarah (Rougeau) Sorrell. Donna, along with her husband Carl worked daily on their local family-owned business for over 30 years serving the North Country. Her favorite pastime was enjoying time spent with her family and a spirited game of aggravation. She was known by many to be a kind & loving soul that was always worried about everyone around her, even if she had just met you for the first time. Donna was predeceased by her parents, Donald “John” and Sarah Sorrell; her brother, Donald Sorrell Jr; and her sister, Marylin Delaney. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 51 years, Carl Bouyea; sons, David Bouyea & wife AnneMarie, Jason Bouyea & wife Rebecca; grandchildren, Andrew Bouyea, Matthew Bouyea and wife Kiara, Kara Bouyea, Haden Bouyea, Christopher Bradt and wife Alexis; her brother, Peter Sorrell and wife Judy; her sisters, Sandy Mcdonald and husband Cleland, Beverly Sabourin and husband Paul, Judy Campbell and husband Scott; as well as several nieces and nephews who affectionately referred to her as “mom”. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday, November 12, 2022 from 2 to 4 PM at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru. A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:30 PM in the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Scott Baldwin, presiding. Donations in memory of Donna may be made to Hospice of the North Country.
