Obituary of Grace Patterson Uhlig

Grace May Patterson Uhlig passed away on Friday, September 30, 2022. She was born on January 19, 1932, the youngest daughter of Bert and Mary Patterson of Willsboro. She liked salt of the earth people and down to earth humor. She was friendly and open-hearted and always thought it best to "be out among em". Her grandchildren admired her for a combination of strong will, confidence and a sweet disposition. She had cats with names like Bug Dusty and Petoot and owned and rode horses competitively since youth. Grace is survived by her husband of 66 years, Johnston Uhlig, along with their four sons: James (Juliana), Jonathon, David (Patti) and Thomas (Jean) and a beloved grandmother of five and great grandmother of three. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her three sisters: Marjorie, Marion, and Dorothy. A remembrance service will be held October 15th at 10 am in the Willsboro Methodist church.
