Obituary of Susan Ann Aubin

Susan Ann Aubin, 56, of Plattsburgh, died Saturday, September 17, 2022 at the UVM Health Network, CVPH in Plattsburgh, with her loving family by her side. She was born in Plattsburgh, May 9, 1966, the daughter of Harold Hubert and Margaret Mary (Conway) Merrill. She grew up in Peru and graduated from Peru Central School in 1984. Susan worked for many different businesses throughout the years, including Ames, Walmart, Schonbecks, Stewart’s, and a few others, and lastly for the Clinton County Health Department for 19 years prior to retiring for health reasons. Survivors include her son, Anthony Aubin and his wife, MaryAnne; her beautiful grandchildren, Gage and Makenzie; her father, Harold Merrill; sister, Sandra Lafave and her husband, Stephen; brother, John Merrill; nieces, April Lafave, and Stephanie Lafave and her fiance, William Feeley; nephew, Michael and his wife, Brittany Lafave; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by her mother, Margaret Merrill. Services will be private and at the convenience of her family. A celebration of life will be held in the summer of 2023. Burial will be held at a later date in God’s Acre Cemetery in Peru. Donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
