Janet M. Trombley, 73, of Plattsburgh, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 26, 2022 at her home under the loving care of her family and Hospice of the North Country.
She was born in Mooers on May 15, 1949, the daughter of Frederick and June (Ormsbee) Lawrence.
Janet loved painting, gardening and camping; and she was an amazing cook. When it came to scrabble she couldn’t be beat. She adored her family and especially all of her grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
She is survived by her four children, Tabitha Trombley, Tina Ellis, Tony Trombley, and Denise Sill.
There will be no public calling hours or services. The family will have a private celebration in memory of Janet.
In addition to her parents, Janet was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Ronnie L. Trombley (2021).
Arrangements are in the care of the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru, 643-9055.
