Shirley Anne Thomas, 74, of the Telegraph Road, Peru, died Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at her home, under the loving care of her family and Hospice of the North Country.
She was born in Plattsburgh, February 26, 1948, the daughter of the late, Charles, Sr. and Leona (McLean) Depo. Shirley grew up in Keeseville and attended Keeseville High School.
She married Randall Arden Thomas, September 17, 1966 in the Peru Community Church.
Shirley worked in retail for more than 20 years, lastly at Walmart until retiring in 2005. She enjoyed crafting, crocheting, camping, and flower gardening.
Left to cherish the memory of Shirley are, her loving husband of 55 years, Randy Thomas; three sons, Bruce (Tiffany) Thomas, Danny (Bob) Thomas, and Jeff (Anne Coons) Thomas; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Charles, Jr. (Nancy) Depo, Linda (Robert, Sr.) Douglas, Gloria Bordeau, and Cindy (Roger Sr.) Douglas; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one sister, Carol Vassar; and one brother-in-law, Stanley Bordeau, Sr.
Donations in her memory may be made to the charity of one's choice.
