Obituary of Lee Ann (Bush) Bruso

Please share a memory of Lee to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with deep sorrow that I announce the passing of my beloved mom, Lee Ann (Bush) Bruso on Thursday, August 18, 2022. She was born in Malone on October 31, 1941, to David C. Bush and Beulah (Moore) Bush. Lee always got a kick out of being a Halloween baby. She was a graduate of Chateaugay Central School, earning her place in the National Honor Society. Lee came from a hard working, large (10 siblings) farming family. She took great pride in being the daughter of David C. Bush. Her fondest memories were of time spent on his farm and his parents’ farm as a child growing up in Chateaugay. She is survived by her sons, Randall J. Bruso; and David L. B. Bruso, who was her loving care taker the last years of her life; grandchildren and great grandchildren; as well as her remaining 8 siblings and their families. Lee was predeceased by her parents; grandparents; one sister; and a brother. She was the most loving of mothers, thank you for all the best home cooked meals, Christmas's and birthdays, for being my rock always, and the BEST CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE MAKER IN THE WORLD. At her request there will be no public calling hours or services. Burial will be private. I will miss you Mom. But I know I will see you again. Until then, rest in Jesus. I love YOU best, Your Loving Son, Dave. Arrangements are in the care of the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru, 643-9055.
