Obituary of Scott A. McKee

Scott A. McKee, 52, of Plattsburgh, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 13, 2022, at the UVM Health Network – CVPH, Plattsburgh with his loving family by his side. He was born in Plattsburgh on February 13, 1970, the son of Lloyd, Sr. and Elsie (McClean) McKee. Scott attended Lakeshore Christian School and graduated in 1987. He was a very talented bass player, songwriter and singer, best known with the bands Full Circle and 3 of a Kind. Scott was an avid gamer along with his best friend Robert Llewellyn, which led to meeting his wife Renee in 2013. Scott was a family man, who especially enjoyed being a Papa. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 6 years, Renee (Asselin) McKee; son, Kevin McKee; stepchildren, Kohl and Kameronn (Alexis) Hall; grandchildren, Holden (6) and Anna (4); his brothers, Kevin (Theresa) McKee, Lloyd (Judy) McKee II, and Randy (Melissa) McKee Sr.; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Lloyd, Sr. and Elsie McKee; and his sister, Deborah (McKee) Wade. A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 5 PM at the Bible Baptist Church, 4635 US-9, Plattsburgh, with Pastor, Jason Dumas, presiding.
