Clark G. “Duke” Duquette, 84, of Iowa Street, Plattsburgh, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, August, 11, 2022, his 66th wedding anniversary, under the loving care of his family and Hospice of the North Country. He was born in Plattsburgh on February 14, 1938, the son of Harry and Edna (Crawford) Duquette. Clark was married to his loving wife, Margaret, on August 11, 1956. He was a member of Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 773, the Peru Volunteer Fire Department and the Peru Knights of Columbus. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Meg; four children and their spouses, William and Rebecca Baker, Jayne Duquette, Daniel and Laurie Duquette, and Adam and Tracy Duquette; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by four sisters, Berdina Rabideau, Edna Provost, Joan Theroux, and Lucille Rabideau; and three brothers, Harry, Leonard, and Fred Duquette. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, August, 16, 2022 from 10 to 11 AM at St. Augustine’s Church, 3035 Main Street, Peru. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM with Rev. William G. Reamer, celebrating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Clark Duquette may be made to Hospice of the North Country. Arrangements are in the care of the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru, 643-9055.
