Obituary of Robin Edward Bezio

Robin Edward Bezio, 68, of Chesterfield Street, Keeseville, passed away peacefully Sunday, August 7, 2022, at The University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington, Vermont. He was born in Plattsburgh, Jan. 28, 1954, the son of Edward "Bud" and Eva "Judy" (Blake) Bezio. He married Lynn A. LeClair, June 16, 1973, in St. John's Church in Keeseville. Robin was a correctional officer at the Clinton Correctional Facility for 32 years. He was a member of the Keeseville Knights of Columbus as well as member of the Keeseville Elks Club. He is fondly remembered by many for his years of dedicated service to the people of the Village of Keeseville. Survivors include his wife, Lynn (LeClair) Bezio; his children, Damien Bezio and Mona LeBlanc of Keeseville, Ashley and Dustin Schwartz of Queensbury, Leila Bezio and Andrew Gabriels of Queensbury; and two brothers and three sisters. Robin was also "Pop" to two grandsons, Dylan and Jake who were his world. He was predeceased by his parents and two brothers. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, August 10, 2022 from Noon to 2 pm at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru. A celebration of life including the presentation of the NYS Flag will follow at 2 pm in the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel. A reception will follow at 3 pm at the Keeseville VFW Post 1505.
