Condolences to his brother Robbie and the entire family. I remember David from the days of the Leaning Pine, our favorite restaurant during those years.

I am sorry sorry to hear about Skip. David was a friend and my manager at the Royal Savage for many years. I had so many laughs and good time with him. Sending positive thoughts and prayers to his family and many friends.

David was a really great person who helped me develop my restaurant and people skills at an early age. Although, at that age, you don’t quite appreciate it until later in life. Well, for me anyways.
The Leaning Pine was a beautiful establishment back in the day and it has continued on in many forms to its current incarnation as Living Goods.
Anyone who has had a hand in working there along the way owes a debt of gratitude to the Timmons family, and especially David. I specifically remember David’s Father passed away soon after retiring and that struck me as extremely unfair. Someone who had given so much to the community their whole life and that’s their fate. David took a different course and led a full life knowing (I think) that the enjoyment of a full retirement is not a guarantee to anyone.
Much love to you and your family from the Harris family. For whatever reason, God (or some other higher power) deemed this was your time to go. Thank you for being a part of my life, David. You helped shape me into a better person by your example and in the end, I think that is all one can ask of another in this world, leaving positive influence.
God bless.
