Obituary of Carol E. Blaise

Please share a memory of Carol to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Carol E. Blaise, 64, of Blaise Lane, Keeseville, passed away on Monday, May 23, 2022 at her home under the loving care of her family and Hospice of the North Country. She was born in Plattsburgh on October 16, 1957, the daughter of Paul Jerome Souliere Sr. and Mary Belle (Keyes) Souliere. Carol spent 30 plus years working at CVPH hospital where she was a transporter; a job in which she could, “push people around for a living and not get in trouble for it.” Her hobbies included shopping, taking the occasional trip to the bingo hall, going to The Hungry Bear and Jade Buffet, spending time with her pets, and most importantly spending time with her friends and family. She loved her blow-up lawn decorations for just about every holiday, especially Christmas. Her biggest moments in life were making people smile, making them feel loved, and helping people whenever and however she could. She truly had a heart of gold, a child-like joy and was an all-around kind spirit. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 45 years, Steven Blaise; children, Jason Blaise and partner, Amanda Worrell, Alexander and wife, Renee Blaise, Benjamin Blaise and husband, Luther Shell; grandchildren, Trevor, Monique, and Kai Blaise; brothers, Paul & Donna Souliere of Knoxville, TN, and Jonathan Souliere, partner, Dru Ford of Cincinnati, OH; sister, Mary Wolfe and husband, Richard of Brooksville, FL and Plattsburgh, NY; as well as many nieces and nephews. Carol was predeceased by her daughter, Jamie Lynn Blaise; parents, Paul Souliere and Mary Rennell; in-laws, Sherman and Elizabeth Blaise; and her best friend and sister, Laura Souliere. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 from 11 AM to 1 PM at Hamilton Funeral Home, 124 Clinton Street, Keeseville. A Funeral Service will be held at 1 PM in the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. William G. Reamer, officiating. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Grove Street, Keeseville.
