David was a close childhood friend in Malone and, later in life, became the family doctor for my children and me. What a bright, friendly, and caring person he was his whole life. He is already greatly missed.
David was a man of many talents and interests, and there was seemingly nothing he could not do. I recall 8th-grade metal shop, where I - being mechanically challenged to say the least - was all thumbs, and struggled with the projects. Thankfully, not only did David take me under his wing, but he actually constructed for me a metal box that was our assignment. I'll never forget how David' efforts earned me a 95, while he had to "settle" for a 90 on his own creation. True to form, he took it all in stride.
To Pam and the whole family, Joyce and I offer our deepest condolences. May wonderful memories help sustain you during this most difficult time.

I am so sorry to hear of David’s passing, and that of his father. He was a good friend, bandmate, and neighbor to me in high school. I will miss him and am sad along with you. My heart goes out to you and your family.

When Dr. Anderson left his Court Street practice, I was sad to lose my favorite physician.
He was smart, funny, and caring. A few years ago,my mother was in CVPH during Thanksgiving.
I looked down the hall and saw someone smiling at me. It was Dr. Anderson. He
recognized me and took the time to talk.
Your family lost someone very special.

My previous post got lost...I think. So forgive me if this is a repeat. I was one of Dr. Anderson's first patients in 1989 having returned to Plattsburgh to care for my Mom. He was so, so, good to me in many hard times. He liked it when i became a clown asking if "professional clown" was an oxymoron. He liked it even better when I moved back to Burlington I kept him as my doctor. He was proud to have a patient across the lake make the trip over to see him. A piece of my heart is lost as family and friends remember such a great doctor and human being who lived life making a difference to so many.

What a wonderful man and have so many memories of David growing up in Malone. Outstanding student-athlete that was wiling to take on any task. With him and his team mates remember him on our cross country team--just an outstanding class-high academic class and great fun to coach and be around.
I remember one incident where we have a few inches of snow and after cross country practice one night football players starting throwing snow balls at some of my runners. David and crew up to task as they took on the football team and had them retreat into their locker room This was Davids attitude-no non sense with willing to take on any challenge.
Saw him and him wonderful family grow up in Malone--great family who wanted the best and best education had to offer. My condolences to David and him family I wish I was closer to be there--Love to all

My sincere condolences to the entire family. I moved back to the North Country in 1990 and David accepted me as a patient shortly after my arrival. He continued as my physician until he left his practice for Meadowbrook. I can honestly say that David was the most nurturing, humorous, and intelligent doctor I have ever been privileged to have care for me. We enjoyed talking about our respective kids, of which he was intensely proud. May you Rest In Peace David, for you surely helped many souls during your life on earth.

David was an incredible leader in the North Country medical community. I had the pleasure to work with him in so many ways because, as his children say, he was "president of everything". My most treasured memories of our professional interactions were in the last few years during the pandemic. David and I chatted numerous times a week as we both tried to navigate hospital and nursing home challenges. David never waivered from doing what was best for the patients and staff at Meadowbrook and I was proud to be part of that. He always came from a position of integrity and doing the next right thing. He inspired many through his actions and he is loved by many. Rest well Dave!
