Obituary of Gordon M. Rock

Gordon M. Rock, 51, of the Fuller Road, Peru, passed away on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at home with his loving family by his side. He was born July 27, 1970 in Glens Falls the son of Wayne and Linda (Gordon) Rock. Gordon graduated from Peru Central School. He went on to be a talented welder. Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Kyle (Brianna) Rock and their children, Kynslee and Brayden, Cole Rock, and Connor Rock; Gordon’s companion, Tonya Huntley; mother, Linda Tellier; siblings, Annie (Shaun) Luck, Roger (Cheryl) Rock, Theresa Rock, Rita (John) Christian, and Ricky LaDuke; Gordon’s children’s mother, Niki Rock; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Wayne Rock; stepfather, Maurice “Baldy” Tellier; brother, Robert “Bobby” Rock; grandparents, George and Margaret Gordon and Wilfred and Catherine Rock; and grandson, Aiyden Rock. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 from 5 to 7 PM at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru. A Funeral Service will be held at 7 PM with Rev. William G. Reamer, officiating. Bagpipes will be played by Kim Matthews. Donations in memory of Gordon Rock may be made to the family to establish a scholarship at Peru Central School for a student who goes to a trade school.
