Obituary of Deborah Lee Eilers

Debbie Eilers, 64, of Morrisonville passed away on October 15, 2021, after a sudden illness. She was born on Feb. 11, 1957, the daughter of Clifford and Lena (Perry) Duprey of Peru. She was predeceased by her mother and father, her brother Art, and sisters Ruthie, Irene, and Audrey. She is survived by her husband Steve, her sons Phil and Ryan (Hilary), daughter Sarah (Dan), brothers, Elmer (Janet), Jim (Ellen), Joe (Judy), Harry (Elaine), Donny (Arletta), Dave (Holly), Rick (Laurie), sisters Betty (Doug), Kim (Kris), many nieces, nephews, and her two grandchildren, Ryland and Haileyana. Debbie graduated High School from Peru in 1975. She started working at K-Mart while in high school and worked 43 years until they closed their doors. She met Steve in 1986 and married him in 1987. They had 35 great years together. There is nothing Deb loved more than her family and she was a fierce defender of them. No matter the situation, she was there to comfort, to encourage, support and love her family. Most of all Deb loved being a Grandma and found any excuse to see her grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call Saturday, October 23, 2021 from 2 to 4 pm at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru. A prayer service will follow at 4 pm in the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel.
