
Obituary of Frances Mae Garrow

Frances Mae Garrow, 85, of the John Boswell Road, Peru, died Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at her home, under the loving care of her family and Hospice of the North Country.
She was born in Plattsburgh, February 14, 1936, the daughter of Hubert and Agnes (Davidson) Ormsby. Frances grew up in Peru and attended Peru School.
She married William Arthur Garrow April 25, 1953 in St. Alexander's Church in Morrisonville.
Frances retired from CVPH in 1993 following many years of dedicated service. Prior to employment at CVPH, she was a seamstress for Trevor Manufacturing in Keeseville.
She enjoyed knitting, sewing, crocheting, and cleaning. Her true love however was time with her family.
Left to cherish the memory of Frances are, her loving husband of 68 years, William Garrow; two daughters and one son-in-law, Cindy and Francis Premore, and Linda Bouvier, all of Plattsburgh; four grandchildren, Bill Premore of Dannemora, Hope (Shane) Spooner of Plattsburgh, Danielle Bouvier, and Chris Bouvier; and several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her two sisters and brothers-in-law, Gert (Kenneth) Allan, and Evelyn (Harris) Merrill.
Services will be private and at the convenience of her family.
Donations in her memory may be made to Hospice of the North Country.
