Obituary of Jacquilin Kay Lilly
Please share a memory of Jacquilin to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Jacquilin Kay (Lindsay) Lilly of Saranac Lake, NY passed away on October 5th, 2021.
Jacquilin (Jackie, Gummy) was 74 years old and was born in Plattsburgh, NY in 1947. She was the daughter of Philip and Doris Lindsay and sister of Curtis, Phyllis Provost (Arnold), Michael (Patricia), Richard (Donna), and Steven (Kim).
Jackie was a beautiful soul: charismatic, friendly, and kind to all she met. She was frequently described as a sassy, vibrant red headed spitfire and lived up to the hype. There are a rare few people in life that radiate joy…Jackie was one of them. She was a gem of a person and her absence will forever change her family.
Her long-time partner James Cochran, daughter Melanie, son-in-law John and three grand-daughters, Kaleigh, Alexandra (Thomas), and Sophie Rose will miss her tenacity, humor, and fierce love. Jackie loved her extended family. She was the Kool-Aid Mom to nieces and nephews: Charles (Chucky), Tammy, Darin, Heather (Tommy), Nicole, Denise (Jimmy), Chelsea, Shannon (Tom), and adopted daughters Carey and Shelley. Jackie was given the moniker Gummy by her first grandchild Kaleigh and it stuck throughout the years. Gummy loved her grandnieces and nephews and it would be important that they be recognized: Philip, Alexa, Lucy, Terrence, Reagyn, Jamison, Landon, Silas, Noah, Rowan, Neveah, Zander, and Gavin.
Gummy's kindness, love, and joy will fill our hearts eternally and relayed in tales that will be handed down for generations to come.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 1 PM in the Calvary Cemetery, Willsboro with Deacon Paul White, officiating.
Arrangements are in the care of the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru, 643-9055.
