Obituary of Peter F. Duso, Sr.

Peter F. Duso, Sr., 72, of Sonya Way, Plattsburgh, died Monday, September 27, 2021 at the UVM Health Network – CVPH, Plattsburgh with his loving family by his side. He was born in Plattsburgh on April 20, 1949, the son of Floyd Duso and Violet (LaPorte) Rivers. Peter did janitorial work at various locations. He loved the outside. He enjoyed mowing and yard work. He loved riding his mower everywhere. Chances are you have seen him in his travels at some point. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include his daughter, Laurie Duso and companion, Larry; son, Peter Duso, Jr. and wife, Kristi and their children, Larry and Krista Senecal; daughter, Jessica Duso and companion, Tyler and their children, Paityn and Eddie Cushing; daughter, Michelle Duso and companion, Elvis; daughter, Sonya Hebert and husband Chris and children; his pride and joy grandchildren, Kristen Duso and fiancé, Chris and Joseph Hendrie, Jr. and companion, Shian; sisters, Gloria Trost and Donna Montroy; brothers, James (Cathy) and Mike Duso; step mother, Doris Duso; his fur baby, Rocky; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his step father, Lawrence Rivers; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, October 1, 2021 from 3 to 7 PM at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru. A funeral service will be held in the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel at 7 PM with the Rev. William G. Reamer, officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Peter F.
