Obituary of Irene Clodgo

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Irene Clodgo, widow of Frank Clodgo, at the age of 97. She was born in York, Great Britain on January 27, 1924 to Florence and Arthur Herbert Harrison, a homemaker and journeyman baker. Her older sister Marjorie Joyce Winch, widow of Richard, passed away in 2011. Irene married Frank Clodgo on February 25, 1953 At the Methodist Church, Melbourne Terrace, York England. She left her home at 9 Maida Grove and when Frank retired, they settled in Keeseville, NY to raise four children; Marjorie, Kathleen, William and Michael. She was predeceased by William's adored wife Annette and Michael's much loved wife Vanessa. She is survived by her four children, three dear sister in-laws, many nieces, nephews and grandchildren here in the US. She is also survived by a niece Irene and her children, and a nephew Richard and wife Barbara in the UK. "Put Kettle On My Dears" Burial will be at the Port Douglas Cemetery at a later date.
