Obituary of Chastity (Colburn) Fermoile
It is with great sadness that the family of Chastity (Colburn) Fermoile, announces her unexpected passing on August 27th 2021, at her home in Phoenix Arizona. Despite her untimely passing, the imprint she has left in the hearts of those who loved her exceed the quantity of time she was with us on Earth. She was born in Plattsburgh, December 21, 1974, the daughter of Robert "Bob" and Joanne (Recore) Colburn. She grew up in Plattsburgh and graduated from Plattsburgh High School in 1993. Following high school Chastity moved to Arizona. The simplest of pleasures in life brought out the best in Chastity. She loved quiet time with family and treasured sharing a glass of wine with friends. She loved to travel and was always planning the next adventure which always seemed to focus on sunny beaches and good snorkeling locations. Her enthusiastic personality was contagious and she had an uncanny way of finding the very best in everyone she met. As a business leader, Chastity had the gift of "how to tell the story" and would create a vision that made people trust and believe in her. Above all else however, Chastity was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured Mackenzie and Easton and embraced every moment with them. She taught them the same values her parents taught her. Those values include, to hold fast to their beliefs, defend those they loved, and always seek to better themselves. Chastity was the rare combination of someone who had a love of life and a firm understanding of what was important – the simplicity of living life with those you love – Chastity will be forever remembered by her husband Dave; daughter, Mackenzie; son, Easton; brothers, Chad, and Casey and his wife, Angie; sister-in-law, Jessica; and her niece and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents. Services were private and at the convenience of her family. Donations in her memory may be made to Huntington's disease or the cancer charity of one's choice. Local arrangements are in the care of the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru, 643-9055.
