
Obituary of Beverly C. Forster

Beverly (Crissy) Forster, (85), formerly of the Arthur Road, Peru, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2021, at the Masonic Care Community of Utica, New York with her loving family by her side.
She was born in Rochester on October 2, 1935, the daughter of Milton and Dorotha (Zehr) Crissy.
After high school, she graduated from Stevens College, and while working and raising her family, completed her master's degree at SUNY Plattsburgh.
She worked at Plattsburgh High School and SUNY Plattsburgh and retired as Assistant to the President. She was a parishioner in the Peru Community Church, the Keeseville Methodist Church, and the Plattsburgh Methodist Church.
One of Bev's many volunteer roles was as a Master Gardener, and she loved being a sister in the Eastern Star.
Beverly married the love of her life, Charles (Chic) Forster, on October 15, 1955.
Left to cherish her memory are her three children, Dorotha "Dottie" DeSimone (Jeffrey) of Manlius, NY; Clark Forster of Peru, NY; and S. Jean Barnes (Vincent) of Suffield, Connecticut, and her sister Janet (Walt) Beeman of Nokomis, Florida. Other survivors include seven grandchildren, numerous nieces, and nephews, three great-grandchildren and many cherished friends.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Charles "Chic" Forster (2015) and her Brother Bruce Crissy (2014).
Services will be announced at a later date. Burial will be in the Port Douglas Cemetery.
In lieu flowers, donations in memory of Beverly C. Forster may be made to the Clinton Masonic Charities c/o Hamilton Funeral Home.
