Obituary of Michael Todd McKenna

Michael Todd McKenna, 43, of Jane Lane, Plattsburgh, died Sunday, August 8, 2021, at his home under the loving care of his family, friends, and Hospice of the North Country. He was born in Plattsburgh, May 24, 1978, the son of C. Michael and Judy Lynn (LaFountain) McKenna. He grew up in Plattsburgh and attended Peru Central School. Michael worked as a mason an also worked construction for many years. He was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed fishing, riding atvs, and spending time with his family. Left to cherish the memory of Michael are, his fiance, Tracey Hemingway; his children, Alijah, Samuel, and Gabriel McKenna; his parents, Judy and Michael McKenna; sister and brother-in-law, Megan and John Livsey; and many friends. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Donald and Grace LaFountain; paternal grandparents, Vincent and Ruth McKenna; and cousin, Richard Nugent. Services will be private and at the convenience of his family. Burial will be in St. Augustine's Cemetery. His family would like to offer a sincere "thank you" to the following family/friends who assisted with Michael's final wishes and caring for him, Donald, Jr. and Colleen LaFountain, Ken and Holly Silver, Mike "Dizzy" Desotell, Chris Lashway, and Nick Lacroix.
