Obituary of Anne Christine Bell

Miss Anne Christine Bell, 65, of Pond Street, Plattsburgh, passed away Thursday, July 22, 2021 at Plattsburgh Rehab & Nursing Center. She was born in Plattsburgh, November 27, 1955, the daughter of Homer Leon and Olive Christine (Bacon) Bell. Anne graduated Jr. High School at Notre Dame, June 1969 and Sr. High School at St. John's Academy, June 1973. She attended Monroe Community College fall 1973 and spring 1974 majoring in recreation supervision. She went on to attend Brockport State University fall 1977 and spring 1979 majoring in Arts for children. In fall 1978 she toured puppeteer of America schools. Anne graduated from Plattsburgh State University, attending June 1985-August 1989, graduating with a bachelor degree in art. Anne worked in clothing retail mostly; she did some work in restaurants. She worked in Philadelphia at a preschool for a period of time. She especially enjoyed working in Rochester where she worked at the American Health SPA/Slimnastics Infrastructure in pool and retail work there at the House of Impacts – Fine Pottery and Furniture from Asia. Next to a good book, Anne enjoyed swimming when able, bicycling and a bright full moon and sunrise/sunset. "You can call me a dreamer, but I do believe in you and me." Left to cherish the memory of Anne are her brothers, Roland Bell (Coral) of Kensinton, Maryland, and Howard Paul Bell (Deborah) of Peru; sisters, Marie Bell of Saratoga and Marjorie Dupee of Portland, Oregon; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents. There will be no public calling hours. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Donations in the memory of Anne Christine Bell may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Arrangements are in the care of the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru, 643-9055.
