Obituary of Eileen Joan Bradley LaDuke

Eileen Joan Bradley LaDuke, 82, of the Military Turnpike, Plattsburgh, died Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at Meadowbrook Healthcare in Plattsburgh. She was born in the North Country, October 6, 1938, the daughter of Leonard and Jennie (Bombardier) Bradley. She grew up locally and graduated from Peru Central School. She married Albert F. "Al" LaDuke, January 17, 1959 in St. Augustine's Church in Peru. He predeceased her May 4, 2019. Eileen worked at the Peru Grand Union for many years and then later as a Respatory Therapy Aide at CVPH Medical Center for more than 20 years before retiring. She was a member of the Catholic Daughter's of St. Augustine's Parish. Eileen enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A great joy in her life was the annual adventure trips she'd take her grandchildren on each and every summer. Left to cherish the memory of Eileen are, her children, Ricky and Susan LaDuke, Tim and Tami LaDuke, Cheryl Liberty and Jerry Martin, and Bradley LaDuke; 10 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; brother, Gerald "Bucky" (Lucy) Bradley; sister, Deann Duquette; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brother-in-law, Ralph Duquette. Relatives and friends may call Friday, July 16, 2021 from 3 to 4 PM at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru. A funeral service will follow at 4 PM in the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel with Monsignor Dennis Duprey, officiating. Committal prayers and burial will follow in St. Augustine's Cemetery in Peru.
